ASIDU ABUDU: AN EXAMPLE OF TODAY’S GHANA/AFRICAN INVENTOR

ASIDU ABUDU: AN EXAMPLE OF TODAY’S GHANA/AFRICAN INVENTOR

Compatriots,

Periodically I have to rehash my personal Mission Statement on Facebook (FB). I am committed to educating the Ghanaian/African public on FB, against malignant and retr

ogressive factors that contribute to undermining Africa’s development and modernisation.

Therefore, I am against: poverty, ignorance and powerlessness of the poorest people in Ghana/Africa. My tools are: analysis, critical inquiry and reasoning through textual (pictorial, literary, visual, audio) criticism.

You have all read my many posts suggesting our leaders invest in a 10-15-year science and technology-led Development and Modernisation Programmes (DMP). I have said this will create full employment for all Ghanaians/African, disregarding ethnic, gender and age differences.

The DMP will create industries, jobs. Increased public infrastructure in roads, rail and sea transport. Fee education, affordable public health, material/food provisions, etc.

Wrongly our uncreative-thinking, IMF-SAP-loving, treasonous leaders, place too much emphasis on university-educated personnel to engineer our development. I think this is wrong. There must be a science and technology, social sciences, arts and crafts and entrepreneurial hunt for the most capable practical, innovators in our society.

Asidu Abudu (electronic gadgetry genius) and Pastor Safo Kantaka (the car and plant inventor) exemplify my argument.

Kofi Nyaako
